During break I wanted to do something fun with the boys. We have a membership to the Children's Museum and Abby (a former student of mine) was on break from college we decided to set out for a day of fun!

Christmas with the Korte's

On December 27th we had Christmas with the Korte's.
The best present is under the presents!

John was so proud of his wrapping paper nose.

Playing with the Legos they got! Derek is watching John!

John wanted to try to help get Josie to go to sleep. She was not really having it. Actually she made it all day without a nap.

He was so tired he just sat back and read his book.

More Legos!

Link Christmas

We hit the road before noon on Christmas day to head to the Link Family Christmas.
The goofy kids! (from left to right) Ainsley, Addy, Graham, Gavin, Lola, Anna and John

Notice Ryan and John are 22 and 23!
Grandma and Papa with the kids they love to spoil!

Construction Worker Gavin.

John gets a rocket!
Graham enjoyed playing with Gavin's toys!

Silly!
Aunt Katie is just enjoying Christmas with her baby doll!
Graham eating the decorations off Grandma's trees!

Christmas morning

Here was our Christmas morning.

Santa went a little crazy with stockings!

Gavin had to do a breathing treatment before things got too out of control. Notice the sticker on his forehead!

John got a Lego watch!

John is upset because Gavin got an unwrapped present from Santa and he thought he was forgotten. Unknown to him at the time of this picture was that he had a 2DS wrapped under the tree!

John's fake smile!

Christmas Eve

We went to church on Christmas Eve, but I was able to snap a few pictures with our Christmas tree before we left!

After church we came home and got ready for bed because Santa can't come when little boys are still awake! These were their Elf on the Shelf Christmas pajamas.

 Silly Faces!
This is what Santa was left. Ryan told the boys that Santa needed a beer and to daddy's appreciation each boy needed to leave a beer for Santa! John also received a letter from Santa at school that Santa wanted him to leave out a book for him!

John's Christmas Program

On Dec. 2nd John had his first Christmas program at school. I will apologize now for the bad quality. We were seated in the very back and my tripod was not tall enough so I had to hold the camera the entire time. I also had to zoom in so you could see him. He was right in front and did a great job. Not all of the videos would upload so this is just a little bit for you to enjoy.

Carving Pumpkins

Pumpkins were carved. The boys had a blast creating their faces.

Adoption Day!

Welcome to our blog! I will try to post pictures and tell people about what is happening in our very busy lives.

On Oct. 9, 2014 everything was finalized and we official became a family. My parents and Ryan's parents were able to be there to celebrate with us. After the adoption we went to the top of the city building to an observation level and got to see the city in all directions. After several pictures we went to Harry and Izzy's in downtown Indy for a late lunch/early dinner. It was a great day, even though it rained.
